New Time-Lapse, new Special Edition!
Matthew Jorde brings us a typography-based stamp for the release of the Special Edition retooled Neutron Time-Lapse, adorning it with a clean style. The goal was to produce a stamp that was reminiscent of the first Time-Lapse SE, while still being its own thing - most fitting for a retool! Players will easily notice the difference between the original Special Edition Neutron Time-Lapse and this new retooled version, both by how it feels in the hand and its flight. Our goal for the Time-Lapse was to create a distance driver that high-power players would trust for controllable maximum distance, and lower-power players would appreciate for reliable and predictable flights. The retooled Time-Lapse is everything we wanted from the original run, and we are very excited about this one. As MVP mentioned previously, Simon recently released a Vlog on his YouTube channel revealing that they've been deep in the lab retooling our first 12-speed driver, the Time-Lapse. They have learned some incredibly valuable lessons over the course of the Time-Lapse’s history (which you can read about in MVP Disc Sports Co-Founder Brad Richardson’s Lab Report), and MVP has brought all of that experience to bear for the release of the new and improved retooled Neutron Time-Lapse! While many players found the overstable original run to be a great wind fighter, Simon and MVP had dreams of the Time-Lapse being a staple in everyone's bag as a workhorse max distance driver. Having made microscopic alterations to several aspects of the Time-Lapse, it now meets Simon and MVP's desired flight. As a result, we’ve updated the flight numbers to more accurately represent it, landing at 12 | 5 | -1 | 2. High-power players will enjoy the glide and flight-extending turn of the retooled Time-Lapse, while lower power players will find it to be a very usable go-to distance driver.
